Details
Relatively full-bodied this Shiraz, but the balance is spot on - plenty of pepper and spice to keep things elegant. Dark fruit and a hint of cocoa make this a great winter warmer.
Shiraz is a world-beater. Starting small in the southern reaches of France, it has spread to all corners of the world, and is known for producing some of the world’s great red wines, capable of perfume, power and persistance. Local versions are luscious and fruity, loaded with plum, raisin and plenty of oaky richness. European expressions however can be more savoury and tend towards flavours of olive, black cherry and pepper. Both are equally delicious, and are simply a matter of taste!

Pairing guide
Cool winter nights and a pot of something comforting on the stove call for a glass of rich Shiraz - there's nothing like it. This red is a great match for an amazing variety of dishes, so think outside the box if you like. It works especially well with stews, braised and rich casseroles. Match it with beef or veal, lamb or duck. The richness of the wine also works really well with roasted beetroot, fennel and root vegetables, as well as cous cous, risotto and vegetable stews.

Wine region

Euston, Australia
Euston is a small part of the greater Murray Darling wine region, which itself spans the states of New South Wales and Victoria. Wines from Euston are solely from the NSW side! It is known for producing a wide variety of wine styles, including reds like Shiraz and whites like Chardonnay. The region's warm climate and rich soil provide ideal conditions for growing grapes, and the resultant wines are fruity, flavoursome and designed for drinking in their youth.
