Details
This rosé straddles the line between fun and serious with a nice bit of finesse. It’s fruity with red berries popping through, but not over the top and the herbal, mineral crunch that drives the palate home, brings the gauge back into ‘seriously good’ territory.

Windowrie is a pioneering western NSW winery that has cleverly turned their whole world around to become a fully organic and minimal intervention producer with a whole swag of clever wines in their portfolio. Still run by the forward-thinking O'Dea family, this estate has the ultimate desire to 'live in a chemical-free, sustainable environment that reflect where we are and what we believe in. While Canowindra is known as the ballooning capital of Australia, you there's more than hot air here. We like the colourful range of classy wines under the 'Sakura' range and the 'Pig in the House' range is a delightful expression of wines made under the hands-off banner.

Pairing guide
You can’t beat a good bottle of rosé with your dinner, and this gorgeous bottle from Windowrie offers bright, summer flavours that are ideal for matching with some seriously delicious homemade dishes. We reckon it’s a top pairing for simple salmon traybakes or pasta dishes with salmon or tuna, but it’s also excellent with crab cakes, grilled prawns, chargrilled chicken with spicy marinade, pulled pork and anything with prosciutto or other charcuterie. Puttanesca and other tomato-based pasta sauces will be excellent, as will anything with red capsicums and fresh herbs.
