Details
The Vinea Marson Prosecco is a serious Prosecco that will have you opening it just to celebrate the fact that you have opened the bottle. There is apples on apples in this wine with tight green apple acidity and a touch of apple pie with plenty of buttery crust. This is a joy to drink and will have you thinking that Prosecco is seriously serious.

Vinea Marson is one of the many family affairs that make wine so easy to fall in love with. Mario Marson and his wife Helen as well as their three daughters are all heavily involved in producing these small batch, Victorian wines. Mario is somewhat winemaking royalty in Australia after his time working at the prestigious Mount Mary winery in the Yarra Valley. Vinea Marson is an ode to Mario’s Italian heritage and more specifically, Friulian heritage. Mario’s daughter Madeleine has embedded herself into the winery as well and is also making her own wines under the Elm label. The winery focuses on scrumptious, get in quick while it’s available Proseccoas well as other classics like Nebbiolo and Sangiovese and the Friulian varieties like Friulano and Picolit. A secret squirrel has also informed us that they are working on adding some Refosco into the fold. The wines are lovingly made and released when they are entering their drinking window so idle hands don’t need to worry about any cellaring.
