Details
Organically grown Chardonnay from a vineyard in Forreston in the Adelaide Hills. Made without anything added, just a pure frothy wine! It's spent six months on lees, but tastes like much more, such is the refinement and creaminess of the palate. Soft and fine, with yellow apple, grapefruit and lemonade flavours. Tangy and delicious.

Alex Schulkin + Galit Shachaf are partners, in both life and in this free, wild project that is The Other Right. A dream team who love to dream. Alex makes the wines whilst Galit draws the labels, sends the invoices and does a thousand other things that keep the business humming. Recently they've tried to promote their young daughter Millie to Deputy Vice President of Sales, but she's busy with school so for now it's just Alex and Galit. Just the way they like it. All their wines are made from grapes and nothing else. Striving to keep it simple, aspiring to make wine that is precise, pure, and exciting. Winemaking operations are kept to a reasonable minimum with no unnecessary action taken. Using fewer tools requires a lot of attention to detail, patience, creativity and problem solving. No additives are used, letting the wine evolve slowly, according to its natural rhythm while maintaining its character. Youth and freshness are the characters they want to shine through, forming wine that is vivid, vigorous, and full of life. This is the Other Right. Dive in. Go with the flow.

Fantastically versatile, this sparkler is going to pair brilliantly with a wide range of dishes and ingredients. Classic Pet Nat pairings like fried chicken - be it in the southern style, the Korean style, or however else you fancy - are always going to be great here, and it’s also excellent with everything from sushi to crispy potatoes, loaded fries, nachos, grilled sausages, scallops with chorizo and curried vegetables. Yum!

Wine region
Adelaide Hills, Australia
The Adelaide Hills wine region, located in South Australia's Mount Lofty Ranges of South Australia is characterised by its high altitude, cool climate, and diverse soils, which all contribute to the unique terroir that produces elegant, complex, and expressive wines. The region's altitude ranges from 400 to 700 meters above sea level, creating a cooler climate than other wine regions in South Australia. The cool temperatures slow down the ripening process of the grapes, resulting in wines with high acidity, delicate aromatics, and elegant flavours. Top sub-regions are Lenswood, Piccadilly Valley, and Basket Range, each with unique microclimates and diverse soil types that produce singular wine styles, the highlights are Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and a whole lot more!
