Details
Malbec and steak is a match made in heaven, hell and inbetween. With chocolatey spice and layers of dark berries this Malbec will be singing the tune with your next venture to the barbie with a slab of meat in hand. We had a feeling about this Malbec and we promise you won’t be disappointed.
Wine is often said to go perfectly with a nice piece of meat and whether that meat be pork, chicken, lamb, tofu in the form of meat or the pièce de résistance, a nice juicy bit of steak. T-Bone wines have taken this literally with perhaps the gold standard of steak, the T-Bone. Just like the cut of steak, T-Bone wines have produced wines that have something for everyone. Where the steak is the perfect; little of column A) sirloin and little of column B) tenderloin, the wines have a lovely array of fruit balanced by plenty of structured tannin and earthiness that unsurprisingly pair with their namesake. The T-Bone team have tee’d up (sorry, not sorry) with some amazing vineyards across South Australia to bring to you a range of red wines that will have you reaching for the biggest wine glass at your disposal, the small collection of herbs, spices and any other seasoning you have in the back of the pantry and the biggest T-Bone steak you can find. Bonne appétit.

Pairing guide
The team at T-Bone are known for wines that pack a punch, and this stunning Malbec doesn’t hold back from making a big impact. It’s a natural pairing for all kinds of grilled and barbecued red meat - the darker and more intense the better - and will work especially well with spice-rubbed ribs, fattier options like lamb chops and, yes, T-bone steaks. It’s also great with eggplant dishes, especially those given a North African twist, and with hearty root vegetable stews.

Wine region

South Australia, Australia
South Australia is a wide and varied state when it comes to wine production. From the coastal regions of Limestone Coast and McLaren Vale, to the warmer inland valleys of Barossa and Eden, to the flats of Langhorne Creek, there's a range of terroirs and temperatures across this wide brown land. As a result, wines labelled with only South Australia can display a range of flavours! The state is probably best known for Shiraz, Grenache and Cab Sav in reds, and Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay in white. Whatever your flavour, there's plenty to explore!
