Details
This pretty-in-pink Moscato from Spring Seed Wine Co. has all the things you need to kickstart a party. The nose is evocative of Turkish delight, pink grapefruit and a hint of watermelon which then goes on to hit the sweet spot on the palate with red fruit and raspberry sherbet.

The Battle of Bosworth dates back to the 15th century which saw Richard III die in battle, the last king of England to do so. Luckily, Jock Bosworth, owner and winemaker of Battle of Bosworth, which is the namesake of this battle, needs not throw down the gauntlet in this day and age. Jock and his wife Louise are fighting the wine war on multiple fronts, making wines in McLaren Vale as well as Kangaroo Island under three different labels. Jock took over the reins of the winery from his dad in 1995 and quickly moved to organic practices in the vineyard. The winery is one of the leaders for organics and even highlights this with the soursob, an important weed used to stop other weeds from taking over in the vineyard, featuring on their labels. The wines behind their thoughtful labels are delightful, made in a bright, modern style that reflects the care shown in the winery. Thankfully, this battle is easily won and proves that the wine is mightier than the sword.
