Details
Blanquito aka. the Little White (that's big on flavour) is a mineral, textural style with no oak influence. Hang eleven with this beachy blend that's nearly half and half Vermentino and Verdelho. The former brings white floral aromas alongside fresh, salted lemon and zest, which is rounded out by pear, melon and nectarine from Verdelho and creamy lees. Finishes fresh with Vermentino's Sardinian sea-spray character, lifting the flavours in your glass while volumising your hair. It's crankin'
Somos is the passion project turned full scale wine adventure from two enthusiastic young winemakers - one Australian and one Mexican - both looking to make interesting and contemporary wines from McLaren Vale. Benjamin Caldwell and Mauricio Ruiz Cantu are the creative duo behind this exciting project, which is focussed on 'alternative' varieties from sustainably managed vineyards - varieties like Aglianico, Vermentino, Cortese and other Italian wonders! These unique wines are made with a deft touch, the resulting styles perfumed and balanced, bursting with energy and personality. Just minuscule volumes are produced, meaning each wine is very limited, but there is great fun and exciting drinking to be had across the Somos range!

Pairing guide
This biodynamic white blend does a fantastic job of delivering freshness and balance by the bucketful. We love sipping this elegant blend alongside seafood - any seafood - and white fish dishes, and it’s a great option for your next beach barbecue! It’s also a superb salad-pairing wine, and will also work really nicely with simple grilled chicken dishes, too.

Wine region

South Australia, Australia
South Australia is a wide and varied state when it comes to wine production. From the coastal regions of Limestone Coast and McLaren Vale, to the warmer inland valleys of Barossa and Eden, to the flats of Langhorne Creek, there's a range of terroirs and temperatures across this wide brown land. As a result, wines labelled with only South Australia can display a range of flavours! The state is probably best known for Shiraz, Grenache and Cab Sav in reds, and Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay in white. Whatever your flavour, there's plenty to explore!
