Details
Want a taste of the Yorkshire countryside? This gin delivers. Primrose, sweet cicely, nettle, rhubarb and milk thistle around amongst the botanicals used to make this beautifully fragrant dry gin, with a fresh and faintly spicy citrusy palate of real interest.

Slingsby is based in the north Yorkshire spa town of Harrogate, where in 1571, William Slingsby discovered the 'unique properties' of the natural spring water from Harrogate’s Tewit Well. This ultra-pure water brought everyone to the town, looking to restore their body and mind with a dip in the restorative spa. What better water to make award-winning spirits with then? The Slingsby distillers use the famous Harrogate groundwater as a backbone, combined with 24 botanicals from the Rudding Park Hotel kitchen garden in Harrogate and fruits from local Yorkshire suppliers to make beautifully crisp gin and vodka.

Pairing guide
When it comes to spirits that work just as well at the dining table as they do at the bar, a proper dry London gin reigns supreme. This beautifully aromatic and perfectly balanced gin from Slingsby is a real joy for the palate, and it’s a great choice for pairing alongside gravadlax or other cured fish dishes, fresh and raw seafood, vegetable crudites, nuts and seeds. Marinated prawns, charcuterie platters, and spicy curries are also a great match for this elegant and crisply refreshing spirit.
