Fuzzy peaches, nectarine and ripe honeydew melon flavours give this bubby mouthfull a bit of weight on the palate. There are also floral notes like honeysuckle, which teamed up with it's ripe and tropical fruit salad flavours, make it a blue sky and sunshine kind of drop!
Origin: Australian Sparkling comes from… Australia. Don’t say we never teach you anything. Mainly Grown In: Often found in Victoria, New South Wales, the ACT, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania... sometimes even Queensland. But never NT. Sorry. Key Facts: Australia has been making sparkling wine since the late 1800s, and some of the first bottles to be produced were actually sparkling red, a style that has stuck with us until today! In the mid 50s the production of the sparkling wines we know today really took off, and the market for it increased – in other words, people got to drinking! The style has been refined over the decades, and now Australia makes world-class sparkling wines, traditionally based on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The style is dry, with flavours of baked bread and green apple, with really lovely, juicy acidity. Great stuff. Fun Fact: A bubbly appetiser? That's right! Sparkling wine is a super fun aperitif which means the perfect thing to sip and stimulate your appetite before you dig into a delicious meal.

Pairing guide
This bright and fun number from Secret garden is absolutely delicious and far less stuffy and formal than Champagne method sparklings… furthermore, when it comes to food pairing, few wines go better with all your favourite nibbles. This fizz pairs well with canapes of almost all descriptions; it will go as well with your grilled prawns as it will with your cakes and bakes. For the best results, however, we’d recommend saving it for hard to pair with spicy or salty dishes like spicy tuna rolls, hot and spicy rice bowls or on the savoury side of the spectrum bacon-wrapped blue cheese.
