Details
A really fun glass of wine here - and a little bit lighter/fresher than previous vintages of the Rollick Fiano. Still medium weight, but higher acidity. There's plenty of fruit - white pear and green apple, some grapefruit, and it finishes chalky and dry. It's quite perfumed and aromatic, but finishes with a crunch of green apple and citrus. Great stuff.

Jack Weedon & Natasha Hayes are the brains and the brawn behind new label Rollick. Both born in the Barossa Valley, uncommonly delivered two weeks apart by the same doctor! Despite this they grew up in different places and only formally met 25 years later thanks to a chance encounter at a mutual friends’ birthday. In a romantic full-circle, they've been together ever since. The first wine they made together was for charity – it was in fact this Fiano. It was a hit and provided the spark for them to establish a label and cement themselves as a genuine winery. So later in 2019 Rollick wines was born, and they haven't looked back. Now sourcing fruit from across South Australia, they make five different wines and are defining their own style. Plenty of freshness and zip, with textural interest seems to be the trademark, and a good thing that is. These are modern wines filled with charm. Good drinking!

Pairing guide
This beautiful Fiano from Rollick really shows off the versatility of the grape variety, and brings forth plenty of fascinating features on the palate amid all that bright and zesty acidity. We love this wine with fresh seafood, baked fish, deep fried shellfish, sushi… basically, if it comes out of the sea, it’s going to be great with this wine! It’s also beautiful served alongside veggie pasta dishes, spring vegetable risotto, and classic appetisers like caprese salad.
