Details
This is such an intriguing and refreshing wine, with real drive and presence. Lots of varied citrus characters, like lime peel and mandarin, mixed with yellow apple, cinnamon and a really fresh line of acidity through the centre. It's both complex and revitalising, offering plenty of interest and texture. Great drinking.

The name Rob Dolan is synonymous not only with fine wine but also high quality football - prior to his stellar wine career and eponymous winery, Rob Dolan was a premiership player with one of the greatest football team's on earth, the Port Adelaide Football Club. Switching from drop kicking to grape picking, Rob began a career in winemaking that took him all across the globe, before settling in the Yarra Valley and starting his own label in 2012. Since then, the successes have been numerous, and after a few sips of his wines, it's not hard to see why....Rob crafts a range of stunning wines that use all his accumulated knowledge along with premium Yarra Valley fruit. From Chardonnay to Pinot Noir and everything in between. His energy and zeal really shines through in every bottle, and these days his two sons are having more and more of a role to play at the winery, so there's every chance the Dolan name will live on for decades to come.

Pairing guide
This traditional Jura grape grows brilliantly well in Rob Dolan’s vineyards, and demonstrates just how wonderfully versatile this particular varietal can be when it comes to food. Savagnin pairs fantastically with creamy dishes - think cream and mushroom sauces slathered over chicken, or firm white fish in cream and cheese - and is also a great pairing for hard aged cheeses, scallops, lobster, crab, and even pork.
