Details
Hand harvested from the estates own vineyards, this is small scale Prosecco that bucks the regional trend. Offers a complete, complex nose of yellow apple, white peach, white flowers and a touch of grassiness. Round and soft, it finishes with a burst of fruit and zesty acidity.
Rive della Chiesa is a medium sized, family run estate in Treviso, Veneto. They're based in the town of Selva del Montello, and in the modern era are run by the Gasparetto brothers Luigi and Michele. The winery has been in the family for three generations, and they have slowly perfected their style, using both traditional methods and technological advancements. The vineyards have an average age of nearly 20 years old, and they commit to only using grapes they grow themselves. In the region of Veneto, which produces more wine than any other Italian wine region, this is something of an anomaly, and places them firmly in the 'boutique' producer category. Situated at a height of 250m above sea level, the vines are planted in the typical red soils of the area, with a north-south exposition. The vineyard is the source of quality here, and the brothers and their team are caring guardians of this precious asset.

Pairing guide
This bright and classy Prosecco from the fascinating Rive della Chiesa winery definitely hits the high notes when it comes to flavour, character, and food pairing potential. We reckon sparkling wine like this one works best when matched with foods that balance salt and sweet - canapes like prosciutto-wrapped dates, cod cakes with a sweet chilli sauce, and noodles cooked in a sweet and sour dressing is always going to work wonders. It’s also going to be delicious with fruity desserts, and with a big platter of aged cheeses and charcuterie. Divine!
