Details
There is much to love in this non-alcoholic Pinot Noir rosé; it's so fragrant and exotic! There’s musk, wild strawberries and rose petals - almost like Turkish delight - but it’s light-bodied and soft, with a little tannin and gorgeous red berry flavours to finish. Lovely!
Origin: It was in the USA - in 1869! Mainly Grown In: Every wine-drinking country in the world! Key Facts: Non-alcoholic wines have become very popular, possibly due to a reaction against pandemic lockdown over-imbibing, or simply a wish to live a healthier lifestyle! These wines are actually dealcoholised, meaning they’re initially made into wine and then put through a process that removes the alcohol - or most of it. Which is why you’ll see a tiny amount of alcohol listed on the label, usually around 0.5%, which is legally ‘non-alcoholic’. Plus & Minus is a hand-crafted range of wines from premium, dry-grown South Australian vineyards, made without any artificial sweeteners but with the addition of grape seed extract during the winemaking process, to add body to the wine. Fun Fact: One of the ways of de-alcoholizing wine is by using spinning cone columns, where wine passes through a column filled with a series of fixed and spinning cones that enable thinning and separation of the wine’s properties. The wine circuits through the cones again until the filtration separates the desired amount of alcohol and the separated flavours are ready to be restored. Like magic, right?

Pairing guide
It’s amazing just how far zero alcohol wine has come in the past few years, as this delicious rosé wine demonstrates in effortless style. When it comes to food pairing, we love this bottle alongside vegetarian classics like pasta all'arrabbiata or a vegan puttanesca, and it’s going to be every bit as good with meat-free sausages cooked on the barbecue. Veggie burgers made from grains and earthy vegetables like beetroot will work very well, and it’s a top choice for paneer tikka masala or other meat-free Indian curries, too!

Wine region

South Australia, Australia
South Australia is a wide and varied state when it comes to wine production. From the coastal regions of Limestone Coast and McLaren Vale, to the warmer inland valleys of Barossa and Eden, to the flats of Langhorne Creek, there's a range of terroirs and temperatures across this wide brown land. As a result, wines labelled with only South Australia can display a range of flavours! The state is probably best known for Shiraz, Grenache and Cab Sav in reds, and Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay in white. Whatever your flavour, there's plenty to explore!
