Details
This is an adorable Sauvignon Blanc from its ancestral home with better line and length than Glenn McGrath. The wine has pure lines of green apple, lemon and apple blossom, backed up with apple driven through the covers and a touch of pineapple that holds up nicely.

The Loire Valley is a grand region that traverses central France where you will find the perfect mix of history, gastronomic delights and a nice smattering of castles. The region expands from the coastal city of Nantes where you could consume one of the best pairings in the world, oysters with muscadet, to the historically important city of Orléans, and by historic, we are talking Joan of Arc levels! François- Xavier Barc and Gérald Vallée started Complices de Loire in 2010, after both having a strong background of winemaking in the Loire Valley. The winery sources fruit from across the Loire and produces a range of classic wines from Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc to Cabernet Franc and Gamay. The winery has two different vineyards, after acquiring Domaine à Deux in 2015, which has helped grow the range of wines. There is a beauty to the range, with modern wine labels and well constructed wines that showcase the versatility of the Loire Valley.

Pairing guide
Ooh, we do love a great Sauvignon Blanc here at Good Pair Days, and this racy little number from Picasso definitely hits the spot when it comes to flavour, distinction, and brightness. As with most Sauvignon Blanc wines, this bottle loves being paired with all your favourite green salads, anything featuring salty feta and halloumi, green olives, and tricky-to-pair with asparagus, artichoke, and kale. It’s delicious with silky fillets of white fish, spinach and goat's cheese combos, and with simple chicken and turkey dishes, too.
