Details
Crank up the volume! This is like music for your palate, it has a voice of its own... aromatic, fruity and harmonious Moscato with a soft buzz of bubbles, and fresh whack of flavour; pears, apples and sweet syrup. This is fresh and clean with just the right balance of sugar.
The Manfredi family behind Patrizi have a long and determined vinous history in the Piedmont region of North East Italy, dating back to the second world war. During this time, they delivered wine by wagon servicing the townsfolk and neighbouring villages, slowly but steadily growing the family business to what it is today. Now, Patrizi are a thriving winery or 'cantina', applying modern winemaking rooted in traditional practices, producing authentic wines, true to place in their home of the Langhe. The Patrizi Moscato d'Asti is of the highest quality, made entirely from the grape variety Moscato Bianco. The kind of Moscato you could enjoy at 'aperitivo' hour, or on its own with a bowl of cut fruit at breakfast. Made with only a low level of bubbles, unlike many Moscato d'Asti, this one is super convenient and easy to open under screwcap.

Pairing guide
When it comes to sparkling food-friendly wines, you just can’t beat the classics. This beautiful Moscato d’Asti is a fantastic wine to bring to the dining table, and it’s going to pair very happily with everything from mussels and oysters to charcuterie, salty cheeses, and Asian-style salads and spicy curries. It’s also a top wine for pairing with sweeter treats; we loved drinking this sparkler alongside desserts of dried fruits and nuts, and it will pair beautifully with simple sponge cakes and fruit tarts, too.

Wine region

Piedmont, Italy
The Piedmont wine region in Italy is a magical place known for producing world-class wines. The region is bordered by the Alps to the north and the Apennine Mountains to the south, and it is characterized by rolling hills and a diverse landscape. The climate in Piedmont is generally cool and wet, with warm, dry summers and cold, snowy winters. This climate is well-suited to grape growing offering slow and steady ripening conditions which lead to high-quality and expressive wines. Piedmont is most praised for its red wines, particularly Barolo and Barbaresco, which are made from the Nebbiolo grape. Barbera and Dolcetto are other celebrated reds of the region, and as for its white wines, Arneis, Moscato d'Asti and the rare Nascetta. Piedmont is also famous for its flavorful truffles, often used in local dishes, and pair beautiful with its regional wines.
