Details
The Autour rosé is a lovely blend of Grenache and Cinsault, which has produced a bright and vibrant wine, with honey, cranberry and raspberry tones that float across the nose on first pour. The wine has a creamy palate with a touch of minerality and spicy edge.

The Rhône Valley has a steep history in producing wine, which dates back to the days of the Roman Empire. The wines today may be quite different from what they drank back then, but then again, a lot of things have changed over two thousand years. They may have a strong reputation for their red blends with a focus on Grenache, however there are also some amazing white wines lurking in the corners, for those that are brave enough to seek them out. Good Pair Days have had a long relationship with Boutinot, a supplier of wines from across the world, and for this project, we tasked them with producing a two ranges of wines, the Olivers and the Domaine Boutinot to showcase the Rhône in all its capacity, not just red wines, with a delightful focus on rosé and very drinkable white blends. The wines are bright and modern with juicy fruit and a nice amount of French savouriness to go with any soirée.

Pairing guide
We just can’t get enough of this charming pink wine from Olivers’ fantastic Autour range, which provides ample freshness and vibrancy alongside a real food-friendly character. It’s an excellent bottle to serve alongside dishes featuring salmon or tuna steaks, and will work very well with barbecued snapper and other fish dishes, too. Chicken with bacon, ham and cheese tarts, medium-strength cheeses and charcuterie like prosciutto are never a bad idea, and it’s also fabulous with tapas favourites like green olive tapenade, croquetas and seafood rice.

Pays d'Oc, France
Pays d'Oc is a wine region located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. It is known for producing a wide variety of wine styles, including red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines. The region has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters, which allows for the production of full-bodied red wines made from grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan. Pays d'Oc also produces aromatic white wines made from grape varieties such as Viognier and Chardonnay, as well as crisp rosé wines made from Grenache and Cinsault. The region is known for its innovative winemaking techniques and is home to a number of small, artisanal wineries but is also one of France's most important regions in terms of its output.
