Details
The white grape that is our hero for this wine is Chardonnay, but also with a little Chenin Blanc stirred in to add some lemony citrus to the juicy stonefruit flavours. It's a fruity and fun sparkling wine that is best drunk ice cold where you can appreciate the juicy joy.

Origin: The original sparkling wines were made in a place called Limoux in southern France. Mainly Grown In: All over the world! From Champagne to Tasmania, and everywhere in between. Key Facts: So let’s get the French out the way first - blanc de blancs simply means it’s a white wine, made only from white grapes. The literal translation is “white of/from whites”. So no red grapes, and no red or rosé wines. Outside of that, it’s free range, game on, do as you will. This means that stylistically these wines can vary quite a bit, but a good starting point is high in acid and fresh and dry (most of the time!) Made all over the world, these are classic sparklers, and make a wonderful aperitif or paired with appetisers or snacks. Fun Fact: The classic Champagne interpretation of Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay - the finest sparklings in the world!

Pairing guide
It's probably easier if we just pick out what foods this won't match with, because this simply easy and pure sparkling is going to win with most things (although it's probably not up for heavy red meat dishes. That's a red wine job). We love serving this bottle of bubbles with fried food and posh versions of takeaway classics; think fried chicken, Fajitas, Indian curries, Thai chicken salad and all the rest. Of course, there’s nothing stopping you from pairing this lovely wine up with a dish of delicate shellfish or a dainty salad, either. It really is going to stand up fantastically alongside pretty much anything you throw at it!

Wine region
South Australia, Australia
South Australia is a wide and varied state when it comes to wine production. From the coastal regions of Limestone Coast and McLaren Vale, to the warmer inland valleys of Barossa and Eden, to the flats of Langhorne Creek, there's a range of terroirs and temperatures across this wide brown land. As a result, wines labelled with only South Australia can display a range of flavours! The state is probably best known for Shiraz, Grenache and Cab Sav in reds, and Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay in white. Whatever your flavour, there's plenty to explore!
