You can almost feel the freshness and vitality in this snappy Margaret River white wine. From the first sip you get a whole array of passionfruit and tropical fruits, complete with a little herbaceous grassy notes to make you feel alive. It tastes of freshness, of just cut grass and then tangy citrus and a flourish of stonefruit. It's crisp, it's refreshing, it has warm day written all over it.

Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Margaret River, Moss Brothers winery stands as a testament to the enduring passion and dedication of its founders. This captivating winery weaves a tale of resilience, craftsmanship, and the remarkable individuals who have transformed it into a true gem of the region. The winery was started by renowned viticulturist Jeff Moss in 1984 with a focus on the key varieties of the region, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and the two varieties that make up SBS. With Rory Parks and Kate Morgan now at the helm there is an exciting smorgasbord of wines coming under four different ranges. There has also been an uptick in a big focus here on Chenin Blanc, which is really hitting its straps, as well as some developing Cabernet Franc. The ‘Moses Rock’ range is named after the wild stallion who roamed the Wilyabrup region of Margaret River in the 1920s. Legend has it that he was named after the very popular surf break, because of his energy, spirit and wild temperament.

Pairing guide
SSB is one of those classic white wine blends that’s always welcome at the dining table. Perfectly balanced and with plenty of bite, this beautiful bottle is going to be ideal alongside fresh seafood dishes, white fish recipes, green vegetables and crisp green salads. Goat’s cheese and dishes making fine use of ricotta or mozzarella will be great, and it’s equally good with chicken breast recipes, Thai green curries, pork tenderloin and ingredients like fennel, ham and Moreton Bay bugs.
