Details
An easygoing Pinot Gris from Margaret River that offers up plenty of ripe bosc pear, yellow apple and some lemon peel. There's more complex notes of honey, cinnamon and almond there as well, but the acid drives things along nicely and the wine finishes dry and fresh.
Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Margaret River, Moss Brothers winery stands as a testament to the enduring passion and dedication of its founders. This captivating winery weaves a tale of resilience, craftsmanship, and the remarkable individuals who have transformed it into a true gem of the region. The winery was started by renowned viticulturist Jeff Moss in 1984 with a focus on the key varieties of the region, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and the two varieties that make up SBS. With Rory Parks and Kate Morgan now at the helm there is an exciting range of wines coming under four different ranges. There has also been an exciting development with the growing production for Chenin Blanc, which is really hitting its straps, as well as some developing Cabernet Franc. The ‘Moses Rock’ range is named after the wild stallion who roamed the Wilyabrup region of Margaret River in the 1920s. Legend has it that he was named after the very popular surf break, because of his energy, spirit and wild temperament.

Pairing guide
This truly delicious Pinot Gris from GPD regulars Moss Brothers is sure to tantalise the taste buds, and works wonders alongside an array of light and flavourful dishes. We especially enjoyed this beautiful white wine served with lightly cooked shellfish - especially scallops and prawns with a slick of garlic and citrus - but it will work just as well with grilled oily fish, battered or breaded white fish, leafy salads, and raw vegetables and homemade dips.
