Details
Here's a breezy, blush-toned beauty bursting with notes of wild strawberries, watermelon, and a hint of rose petal. Light, dry, and delightfully crisp, it glides across the palate with a refreshing, seaside charm. Perfect for picnics, lazy afternoons, or anytime you want a glass that’s as easygoing as it is delicious. Summer in a bottle, no matter the season.

Tucked away in the sun-drenched heart of Central Victoria, McPherson Wines has been crafting vibrant, expressive wines for over half a century. Founded in 1968 by industry trailblazer Jock McPherson and now helmed by his son Andrew, the winery has grown into one of the region’s most respected names—balancing family tradition with a fresh, modern outlook. The vineyards, located across the rich soils of the Goulburn Valley and Strathbogie Ranges, thrive under long, warm days and cool, crisp nights—ideal conditions for producing fruit-forward wines with real personality. At the winemaking helm is Jo Nash, a powerhouse talent who brings both finesse and innovation to the cellar. As one of the few female head winemakers in the region, Jo combines technical know-how with an adventurous spirit—championing minimal intervention techniques that let the fruit shine. Sustainability is more than a buzzword here: McPherson Wines are actively reducing their carbon footprint through water conservation, lightweight packaging, and a commitment to responsible vineyard practices. The result? Honest, joyful wines made with heart, heritage, and a healthy respect for the land they call home.

Pairing guide
This stunning organic and vegan rosé from McPherson Wines is sure to be a hit with vegans everywhere looking for the ideal food-pairing wine, and will undoubtedly satisfy even the most dedicated of carnivores, too. We loved pairing this wine with grilled Mediterranean vegetable dishes, and found fantastic results with vegan burgers made from tofu or lentils, quinoa salads, and simple lentil curries, too. Spinach and mint combos work very nicely indeed with this pink wine, as do simple tomato pasta sauces.

Wine region
Central Victoria, Australia
Central Victoria’s wine region is made up of several sub-regions. Some well-known sub-regions include the Bendigo, Heathcote, and Strathbogie Ranges, known for red wines made from Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The elevation of Mount Camel and the Great Diving Range ensures warm days and cool evenings for the vineyards, which is advantageous for reds but also aromatic and high-acid whites like Riesling and Chardonnay. Warmer sub-regions within the Central Victorian wine region such as Goulburn Valley, Upper Goulburn, and Sunbury produce richer wines and have an increasing reputation for alternative Mediterranean varieties.
