Details
The Les Sonnailles Blanc is made from Sauvignon Blanc in a style that suits any occasion. There is a nice balance of fruit with notes of citrus, melon and grape with a nice hint of acidity and tropical fruit punch to finish. There is a nice textural feel that keeps the party going too.
Origin: Likely France, but unconfirmed. Possibly a wild grape variety that was indigenous to multiple areas in slightly different forms. Mainly Grown In: France, New Zealand, Italy, Chile, USA, South Africa. Key Facts: If you’re a fan of a lime twist in your drinks, the smell of fresh cut grass in the morning, and have been told you are intense or that "you sure stand out in a crowd", well, you’ve met your match. Sauvignon Blanc is an all-dials-at-max kind of grape, which means it's going to fist pump your senses with its intense (and sometimes pungent) aromas, mouth-watering freshness and a cleansing herbaceous character. As one of the most planted white grapes in the world, it’s no wonder it has claimed hearts in various styles; It can be lean and zesty when it’s from cooler climates and fuller and more tropical when grown in warmer ones. Fun Fact: In French, Sauvignon means "wild". Some say this reflects the wild nature of the Sauvignon blanc grape vine, which is quite vigorous and can grow out of control if not monitored by vineyard workers.

Pairing guide
We couldn’t help but be impressed by this crisp and delicious Sauvignon Blanc, which exudes a stunning array of bright and refreshing flavours perfect for pairing with some of our favourite foods. Lighter dishes really are the order of the day - goat’s cheese salads, green vegetable medleys and spicy Thai broths will all work brilliantly here. It’s also great with freshly seared seafood, white fish fillets, chicken salads and anything featuring plenty of soft green herbs like parsley, basil and coriander.
