Details
This wine is crafted from two mature vineyards, situated in a cold pocket of the Monferrato hills outside Canelli in Piedmont. It's low in alcohol and super high in flavour - it has a piquant effervescence and is alight with lychee, nectarine and lemon. Fresh and delicious.

Established back in 2008 by a plant nerd and a maker of wine, Daniel Fischl (the plant one) and Michelle Edwards (the wine one), Linnaea Vineyards are focussed on making a suite of great wines from some of the best vineyards from around the world. From Italy to the USA to Australia, and who knows where next, this intrepid couple seek out only the best, to create the best. Life and business partners, they met at University of California - Davis many moons ago, and have travelled the world together since. Their wines show off this international experience, being balanced and harmonious - all the vineyards they work with employ at least some organic principles, and the touch in the cellar is a light one. Fragrant wines, all designed for the table, this is a collection not to miss.

Pairing guide
There’s a common misconception that Moscato is a tough wine to pair successfully with a broad range of dishes. We couldn’t disagree more - we reckon this beautiful wine pairs fantastically with light appetisers, especially deep fried snacks, and works wonders with salty dishes like salt cod cakes, feta bites, and cured meats. It’s also going to be great with chilli-spiked Thai food, classic Indian curries, and - of course - desserts featuring red berries.

Wine region
Piedmont, Italy
The Piedmont wine region in Italy is a magical place known for producing world-class wines. The region is bordered by the Alps to the north and the Apennine Mountains to the south, and it is characterized by rolling hills and a diverse landscape. The climate in Piedmont is generally cool and wet, with warm, dry summers and cold, snowy winters. This climate is well-suited to grape growing offering slow and steady ripening conditions which lead to high-quality and expressive wines. Piedmont is most praised for its red wines, particularly Barolo and Barbaresco, which are made from the Nebbiolo grape. Barbera and Dolcetto are other celebrated reds of the region, and as for its white wines, Arneis, Moscato d'Asti and the rare Nascetta. Piedmont is also famous for its flavorful truffles, often used in local dishes, and pair beautiful with its regional wines.
