Details
For those that like to be a little bit adventurous every now and again, we have the ‘Notes Exotiques’ range of wines for you. This rosé is a classic french example, a 50/50 split of Grenache and Cinsault, that is very pale pink with pink grapefruit and wild raspberry fruit tones balanced by a touch of dried herbs.

The wine world is a big, wide world that can be difficult to navigate from time to time. Luckily there are people in the industry like Camille, that are happy to open the doors to wineries that might otherwise be missed. La Vicomté is one of those wineries, located in the Languedoc they have a host of grapes to utilise and the wherewithal to make smart, modern wines that are ideal for the Australian market. The beauty of the Languedoc is that there are less restrictions about what wines they can make, so the winery portfolio is extensive. They have a range of different wines, from classic French varieties like Viognier, Vermentino and Grenache Gris, to more fascinating wines like their ‘Cépage Resistant’ range which focuses on varieties like Floréal and Souvignier Gris, that are sustainable, rely less on pesticides and help preserve the biodiversity of the soil. Beside the good planet story, they also make great wine across the board for you to enjoy at home.

Pairing guide
Elegant notes of soft berry fruits abound in this elegant rosé, made from Grenache, and Cinsault grapes of La Vicomté in Languedoc. Delicious and oh-so versatile, this classic pale pink rosé will pair beautifully with aromatic fennel dishes, salty anchovies, Lebanese and Greek meze classics of hummus, eggplant, and fava beans, and with charcuterie and fresh tomato pasta dishes, too. It’s a stunning pairing for delicate fish like mullet, bass, and snapper, and will also work very well with spring rolls, Thai curries, and creamy brie.
