Details
Welcome to Barossa flavour town. This luscious Shiraz blend is everything you'd want in a South Australian red - there's acres of plummy fruit, a bit of fruit cake chunkiness and then a coffeed, rich texture that is so moreish. Full flavoured and full of charismatic fruit.
After 15 years spent selling wines for other people, Sydney-based wine salesman and all-around nice guy Sanjay Chabbra decided he could do it better. So he started up his own business - Gambit Wines - working in conjunction with Sons of Eden winemaker Corey Ryan, focused on small-batch South Australian wines made to be expressive and delicious. Under the Jaya label, Sanjay has released a pack of wonderfully expressive Barossan & Eden Valley wines from famous vineyards that we really like. Made with no new oak, wild fermentation and minimal fining or filtration, the Jaya Grenache, Shiraz and blends feel like the wholesome Barossan wines we've been missing in our lives.

Pairing guide
Big-hearted and beautifully bold, the Jaya SGM blend is basically begging for a feast. Think smoky barbecued ribs, chargrilled lamb chops, or a juicy cheeseburger stacked high — anything with a bit of char and richness will play perfectly with its dark fruit, spice, and velvety tannins. It’s also a dream match for a hearty mushroom and lentil stew if you’re keeping things plant-based (and trust us, those earthy vibes will sing together). Bonus points if you can sneak in some rosemary or thyme — the wine’s peppery, savoury notes love a little herby action.
