This is a proudly different wine for McLaren Vale, from a couple who proudly do things differently. Primitivo, also known as Zinfandel, can make for some seriously black and savoury reds, and although this isn't as formidable as the biggest wines, it still packs a hearty punch. Blackcurrants, dates, dried figs, and all of the black fruit drive this wine, with a proper savoury finish. Such grown up red wine!

Dealing in low yields and small batches, Inkwell makes use of just one tractor, one de-stemmer, a single press, and small fermenters to gain absolute control over their output. Needless to say, that output has gained no shortage of fans, thanks to an incredible array of flavours and characteristics that continue to support McLaren Vale’s peerless reputation.
