Details
Here & There's Malbec is bright and alive with notes of bramble and blue fruit that jump from the glass. This is quintessential Malbec, with a lovely, pillowy texture and plump roundness, with layers of red and black berry fruit from top to bottom. A perfect BBQ wine!

Malbec has long been a part of French wine culture, with regions like Cahors and Bordeaux making use of its bright, vibrant colour and juicy fruit notes in blending with varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon. However, the variety made its mark in Argentina, with some exciting wines breaking down barriers and opening up Malbec to the rest of the world. Today, this variety is no longer just blended and we are seeing some fantastic examples within Australia and South Africa as well as in its traditional homes. Good Pair Days have teamed up with one of our international suppliers, Boutinot, to bring you a couple of exciting examples of Malbec. We have the Here & There Malbec sourced from South Africa and the Bellefontaine Malbec from Languedoc in the south of France. Both offer different spectrums of the Malbec scale and we are excited to help showcase how amazing this variety can be.

Pairing guide
Here & There has done a fantastic job of eking out every last drop of expression from their Malbec grapes, resulting in a red wine that packs mountains of character and deep, bold and utterly satisfying flavours. This bottle is a great option for meaty feasts of chargrilled ribs, homemade burgers, rich game pies and steak with chips and peppercorn sauce. It’s also excellent for roast aubergine and other Mediterranean vegetables, corn-based dishes, spicy wings, chilli con carne and anything with a hit of blue cheese. Delicious!
