Details
Well if the Good Dog Pinot Noir was a dog, it would be a Border Collie. It has plenty of energy and spark with an abundance of red fruits and a nice layer of spice. Then, just when you have thrown the ball for the seven thousandth time, it finally decides it is time for a cuddle with some nice tannin and lengthy grip.

You are walking down the road to your local cafe, the sun is shining and the rosella’s are singing. When arriving at the cafe, you manage to snag your favourite seat and that morning coffee tastes exceptionally good, what could make this day better? A good dog, that’s what! Walking towards you is a couple with a dog on lead making their way to sit next to you. So in between sips of coffee and basking in the sun, you reach down and give a few pats, which are gratefully appreciated. Good Dog wines are based in the South of France, where the sun is glorious, the wines delicious and of course the dogs are amazing.. Shame about the coffee though. The range of wines that have been put together focus on clean fruit, varietal variation and just the right amount of complexity. We, here at GPD, besides loving dogs, are really happy to bring you this brand, fresh off the press.

Pairing guide
You can’t help but be impressed by the delicious flavour and fantastic versatility of this Pinot Noir from Good Dog, which definitely stands out as a proper crowd-pleasing red for all kinds of dinner parties, barbecues and more. We liked it a lot with Tex-Mex dishes bringing together red meat, capsicums and warming spices, but this will also be excellent with roast poultry or lamb, kofta kebabs, vegetable and bean stews, braised lentils, duck breast with red berry sauce and all kinds of tomato-based pasta sauces. Fantastic!

Of the numerous varieties available in Languedoc Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Viognier are the stand outs.
