Details
Some Pét-Nats can be a little cloudy and wild, but this one is at the cleaner, lighter end of the spectrum, with just a slight haze. It's a blend of Arneis, Pinot Grigio and Gewürztraminer, and offers up a lush tropical mix of pear, pineapple and kiwifruit, backed up by some hints of almond, honey and chalk. Fresh and clean, with a plush texture.

The Gabrielle label is one you may not have come across before, but we can guarantee it will become a firm favourite after tasting! Only started in 2019, a small production combined with a focus on minimal intervention and quality grapes all adds up to a wonderful combination that produces delicious wines suitable for any occasion. From the cool King Valley, winemaker Andrew Vesey crafts this tight range of wines - starting with Rosé and Pinot Grigio, but adding this Pét-Nat recently. Gabrielle’s origins lie in the beautiful King Valley of Victoria. With its rich Italian heritage and wine pedigree, the region boasts pristine waters surrounded by mountains and valleys, producing an ideal growing environment for cool climate wines. Within King Valley several vineyards seek to deliver sustainable and environmental practices that contribute to the region, wildlife and winemaking. Grapes for Gabrielle wine are sourced from one such vineyard, which seeks to enhance vine production and protect the environment. Practices include native revegetation, no spraying and no netting....which means not only do these wines taste great, but they're doing their part for the environment too!

Pairing guide
We’re all Pét-Nat fans nowadays, and yet it still gives us a real thrill to discover a new bottle of this on-trend fizz that takes the style to new and exciting heights. This bubbly beauty is about as food friendly as can possibly be; we absolutely love it with samosa, pakoras, spring rolls, and any other deep-fried Asian savoury snack that’s a little bit naughty but unashamedly nice. Southern fried chicken, breaded fish, soft cheeses like camembert with berry sauce, garlic prawns, baked oysters and crispy fish goujons will all also work a treat.
