Details
The Future Perfect 'House Wine' is what every home needs in the fridge. A light, elegant and graceful Tasmanian Pinot it has spice and pithy edges with a very pretty, red and blue fruited wine at the core. Delicate, delectable and deliriously drinkable this is so so good, especially with a light chill.
Tasmania so often feels like a hidden corner of the Aussie wine world, but one with all sorts of unknown delights and lush artisan tastes, and the Future Perfect Wines are a great case in point. Made by the founder of Queensland lofi label La Petit Mort, who upped his life from QLD and moved to Tasvegas in search of great Pinot. Now with his own 'pretty humble' microwinery in Hobart, Thomas works with a handful of growers and sites in Southern Tasmania and the Tamar Valley to make what he calls 'an honest expression of Tasmanian wines. Thomas' gorgeous Pinot Noir wines are the star here, but don't miss the crystalline Riesling and a super surprising spicy Shiraz as well.

Pairing guide
Future Perfect has really struck gold with this elegant and silky Pinot Noir - it’s absolutely the kind of versatile red that never fails to satisfy the senses, and will work brilliantly with a massive array of tasty dishes. Obvious pairing partners are juicy steaks with olive butter or a creamy mushroom sauce, duck breasts served rare with red cabbage and lentils, sausage casserole or stuffed portobello mushrooms. However, it’s equally delicious with roast beets, eggplant with miso and kale, beef and rice dishes, and all kinds of bean and lentil stews. Fabulous!
