Details
This is a complex blend of two varieties that aren't commonly seen together. It's both ripe and racy, with irresistible peachy and tropical fruit flavours, all draped around some zingy lemon tang. The fruit follows through on the palate, and then finishes with some notes of honeysuckle and almond. Lovely stuff.

Origin: Chenin Blanc comes from the Loire Valley in France, whereas Viognier is originally from the Rhone Valley. Mainly Grown In: South Africa actually leads the way for Chenin Blanc these days, with nearly twice as much planted as France. USA and Argentina also have a lot. Key Facts: You know that friend who just seems to do everything well? They are an artist, and athlete, and wait, what — they also code? Well, that’s pretty much Chenin Blanc, quite possibly, the world's most versatile grape. It’s famous for world-class dry table wine, sweet wine, sparkling wine, and in some parts of South Africa, distilled into brandy! However, most on the market today are dry wines — like this delicious drop! The style of the flavours of dry Chenin Blanc depends on the climate it is from (warm or cool) but, one thing's for sure, it almost always has flavours of apples, delicate white flowers, and beeswax complimented by sky high acidity. Fun Fact: In South Africa they refer to Chenin Blanc as Steen.

Pairing guide
This beautiful white blend from Fruit Orchestra brings together two of our favourite white varietals: Chenin Blanc and Viognier. The result is a gorgeously luxurious wine, perfect for matching with rich seafood dishes of crab, lobster, or scallop, and equally good with pork chops served with a fruity sauce. It’s also a surprisingly good pairing for Cantonese dishes combining sweet and sour elements, as well as roast chicken or salads featuring white meat or fish.
