Details
This is a dry, zesty sparkling wine made from exclusively Chardonnay. Picked early, but it still shows a ripe fruit spectrum of lemon, white peach and almond. There's plenty of acidity - a hallmark of whites and sparklings from the cool Limestone Coast region - and that keeps the wine tight and on line. Plenty to enjoy here - fruity and refreshing all at once.
Origin: The original sparkling wines were made in a place called Limoux in southern France. Mainly Grown In: All over the world! From Champagne to Tasmania, and everywhere in between. Key Facts: So let’s get the French out the way first - blanc de blancs simply means it’s a white wine, made only from white grapes. The literal translation is “white of/from whites”. So no red grapes, and no red or rosé wines. Outside of that, it’s free range, game on, do as you will. This means that stylistically these wines can vary quite a bit, but a good starting point is high in acid and fresh and dry (most of the time!) Made all over the world, these are classic sparklers, and make a wonderful aperitif or paired with appetisers or snacks. Fun Fact: The classic Champagne interpretation of Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay - the finest sparklings in the world!

Pairing guide
The team at Fox Tales have knocked it out of the park with this characterful and deliciously luxurious blanc de blancs wine, which offers a delicious array of food pairing options to explore. We like to keep things classic with this wine, pairing it up with creamy white wine chicken dishes and richer seafood like Moreton Bay bugs, scallops and lobster. However, it’s also a great wine to pair with barbecued white meats, egg dishes like foo yung and Spanish omelettes, and proper Italian lemon or seafood risotto. What could be better?

Wine region

South Australia, Australia
South Australia is a wide and varied state when it comes to wine production. From the coastal regions of Limestone Coast and McLaren Vale, to the warmer inland valleys of Barossa and Eden, to the flats of Langhorne Creek, there's a range of terroirs and temperatures across this wide brown land. As a result, wines labelled with only South Australia can display a range of flavours! The state is probably best known for Shiraz, Grenache and Cab Sav in reds, and Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay in white. Whatever your flavour, there's plenty to explore!
