Wow! Lots to unpack in this Malbec, with aromas of wild mountainside herbs, red cherries and black plums, there’s leather and saddle too and a subtle farmyard scent overlaying spice, floral notes, and vanilla from oak. On the palate, it’s savoury and dry, with a sour crunch from high acidity, and firm tannins. It’s medium-bodied but powerful enough to convince you otherwise!
