Details
Robust aromas of blackberry and bramble, cedar, leather and liquorice and a dusty, earthy stoniness meet a dense and complex wine (85% Mourvèdre with a splash of Grenache and Cinsault) on the palate that is beautifully balanced, with tightly packed, integrated tannins and a rounded and supple finish. Excellent Bandol, and proof of why Domaine de Terrebrune is one of the leading lights of the region!

Bandol is the key appellation of the Provence wine region in Southern France. The story began in 1963 when sommelier turned vigneron Georges Delille purchased a promising vineyard bordered by the Mediterranean and the Gros-Cerveau mountains, east of Bandol. The first ten years were dedicated to reviving, renovating and replanting vineyards following the divine directives of local legend Lucien Peyraud (Domaine Tempier). Today Renald farms organically, hand-ploughing and green harvesting to ensure flavour concentration. All grapes are hand harvested and selected in the vineyard before entering the cellar. The detailed and patient approach is consistent in the underground cellar; gentle pressings and gravity-fed transfers. The result is very age-worthy, an average 20 years for reds and 10-15 years for whites and even the Rosé. Thankfully we’ve done a portion of the bottle-ageing for you, so 'patient cellaring' is optional on your end.
