La Dominode comes from the Latin 'Dominus' and 'vineyards of the lord', which is a nod to the fact that this perfectly situated plot was once owned by the Lord of Savigny. Aristocracy gets all the nicest stuff, right? This is a seriously good Pinot, too. It's quite muscular for Burgundy, but still medium-bodied in anyone's language, with a lovely flow of red fruit and beautiful sandy tannins.
