This Rosé is sourced from Syrah off the Canet estate. There are pomegranate, cranberry and cherry blossom notes with a hint of spice to produce a lean but driven wine.

Château Canet is a modern winery located in the heart of the Languedoc, in the renowned region of Minervois. Floris and Victoria have owned the estate and winery since 2007 after spending time in Burgundy. The estate, and name of the winery dates back to 1126 and today is used as a site for quintessential French winery weddings. Floris likes to keep a modern edge to the winery, focusing on bright styles of wines that mix in seamlessly with the traditional Minervois classics. The Domaine Canet range drew the eye of our wine buying team when tasting these delights in France. They are a range of single variety wines from the family estate that are smartly packaged and show clean and modern winemaking. Too often, you have regions that only focus on traditional styles however these wines buck that trend, with some Malbec, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc also making up the mix aside from classic Syrah and Cabernet Merlot. We hope you enjoy the first look at these wines on Aussie shores.

Pairing guide
A stunning southern French rosé, this beautiful bottle is a fabulous choice to serve chilled on a warm and sunny afternoon… or at any other time and in any other weather, if we’re honest. Bright, zippy and bursting with delicate fruit flavour, it’s a great pairing for chicken breast dishes, spring vegetables, simple pasta creations like cacio e pepe, and especially with poached or pan-fried salmon and herbed new potatoes. Rice dishes like seafood paella will work well, and it’s also excellent with barbecued prawns with plenty of garlic and parsley. Wonderful!
