Details
This beautifully striking wine has a lovely copper/pink colour in the glass and simply bursts with flavour. It's super floral and with plenty of different fruits, it's really enticing! It starts with candy floss, strawberry and cranberry, then there's more grapefruit, jellybeans and ripe plum. Very dry and fresh, with plenty of acidity - it's a great wine for a picnics and antipasto.

Origin: The spiritual home of rosé is Provence, in Southern France. Mainly Grown In: Rosé is found all over the world these days, but coastal regions are especially well suited to the growing of red grapes for rosé. Key Facts: Rosé is predominantly made from red grape varieties. The colour in wine is actually from pigments found in the skins of the grapes, so even red grapes have clear-coloured juice. The colour is then ‘bled’ out of the skins by infusing the skins into the juice. So for rosé, the wine simply spends far less time hanging out with the skins! Rarely you will find a rosé that is a combo of white and red grapes – they’re not ‘less good’, just less common. Rosé is super versatile – it suits any occasion. Best to always have a bottle in the fridge, just in case, you know… Wednesday happens or something. Fun Fact: Rosé from Southern France, such as Provence and Minervois, is like the "Little Black Dress" or smart suit jacket of the rosé wine world. Sometimes nothing beats the classics.

Pairing guide
Bright, approachable, and with a lovely balance of softness and sharpness, this rosé wine is a great choice for al fresco dining and lazy afternoons in the sunshine! It’s a classic style rosé, perfect for pairing with a wide range of salads, simple pasta dishes, savoury pastries, and cheese and charcuterie collections. We really enjoy this wine with salmon en croute and seared tuna, and it also works really nicely with feta and spinach dishes, too!
