Details
Fun juice that's the name of the game with this pink pet nat, with a blend of Pinot Gris and Shiraz from the Petrucci & Aramis Vineyards in McLaren Vale. What sets this sparkling apart is that it is clean, not too wildly frothy, and so pretty, with a strawberry and red apple palate with a dollop of stonefruit ripe fruit for good measure. So much lightness and brightness in this clever fizz.
Nothing but juice. That's the intention of the Das Juice project, which is a natural wine collab between legendary ex-sommeliers Tom Sheer & James Audas. The two had glittering careers in hospitality, with James a somm at Noma in Copenhagen & Tom at Oscillate Wildly in Sydney, while founding revered import and distribution business Lo-Fi Wines. The Das Juice wines, fittingly, are 'made with maximum good-drinking in mind', sourcing grapes from some of the best organic and biodynamic vineyards around South Australia, as well as a special wine we make in Beaujolais from the organic vineyards of Fleurie hero and good friend Guillaume Chanudet. Everything under the Das Juice label is made with no adjustments, with no fining nor filtration and with a small amount of sulphur at bottling being the only addition with 'nothing added, nothing taken away'.

Pairing guide
Anything with this much pink fruit generosity is going to go well with noodles, and the gently juicy edges here are going to make for such an easy match with Pad Kee Mao or Pad Thai, using your choice of protein (tofu or chicken are our favourites, and prawn in second). Don't neglect pizza either, with salami-covered red sauce pizza an obvious choice, and choose your spice level for balance. The red fruits of this pet nat are going to wok nicely with a range of pairings in honesty, just chill it down to proper ice cold!
