Details
A lovely Shiraz for when the nights start to draw in around you. With bright plum notes, a decent pinch of pepper and rounded tannin, this will warm you up just like your best blanket.
Origin: The first recognised wines were made in the Rhône Valley and south-eastern France. Mainly Grown In: One of the world’s leading grapes, it is found in France, Australia, the USA, Argentina and South Africa. Key Facts: Shiraz is a world-beater. Starting small in the southern reaches of France, it has spread to all corners of the world, and is known for producing some of the world’s great red wines, capable of perfume, power and persistence. Local versions are luscious and fruity, loaded with plum, raisin and plenty of oaky richness. European expressions however can be more savoury and tend towards flavours of olive, black cherry and pepper. Both are equally delicious, and are simply a matter of taste! Fun Fact: There are many faces to Shiraz, but typically when grown in a cooler area, it will display more lavender and peppery notes. Where as when from a warm climate, more juicy even jammy fruit.

Pairing guide
Juicy, bold, and brimming with dark fruit and spice, Daisy Shiraz 2023 is the ultimate crowd-pleaser. With ripe blackberry, plum, and a hint of peppery warmth, it’s a perfect match for smoky BBQ ribs, grilled lamb, or a rich aubergine parmigiana. The velvety tannins and touch of vanilla make it a dream alongside hard cheeses like aged cheddar or manchego, or for something daring, try it simply with a piece of quality dark chocolate.

Riverland, Australia
Located in the heart of South Australia, the Riverland wine region is a tropical paradise for wine lovers. The region was formerly known for its traditional wines, particularly Shiraz, Chardonnay, and Grenache as well as its abundance of sunshine and beautiful scenery. In the last few years it's added a raft of Mediterranean varieties to its charm - think Fiano and Nero d'Avola. The warm climate and fertile soils of the Riverland make it a perfect place for grape growing, and the wines produced there are bursting with flavour. So why not explore the wines of the Riverland and discover a new favourite?
