Details
This is your perfect sparkling after a tough day of raging a battle on weeds and pruning roses. Pop the cork and sit outside with a nice glass of this cuvée while you admire your efforts. With classic brioche and citrus notes, a nice waft of baked apple and plenty of fizz, this will hit the spot.
Origin: Australian Sparkling comes from… Australia. Don’t say we never teach you anything. Mainly Grown In: Often found in Victoria, New South Wales, the ACT, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania... sometimes even Queensland. But never NT. Sorry. Key Facts: Australia has been making sparkling wine since the late 1800s, and some of the first bottles to be produced were actually sparkling red, a style that has stuck with us until today! In the mid 50s the production of the sparkling wines we know today really took off, and the market for it increased – in other words, people got to drinking! The style has been refined over the decades, and now Australia makes world-class sparkling wines, traditionally based on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The style is dry, with flavours of baked bread and green apple, with really lovely, juicy acidity. Great stuff. Fun Fact: Tasmania is starting to turn heads over their fabulously refreshing sparkling wines. It makes sense because of their cool climate and ongoing success with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay!

Pairing guide
Light, lively, and bursting with floral elegance, Daisy ‘Garden Cuvée’ is the kind of sparkling wine that makes any meal feel like a celebration. With its crisp citrus notes, delicate orchard fruit flavours, and fine, dancing bubbles, it’s a dream alongside fresh seafood—think oysters, seared scallops, or zesty ceviche. Its floral and subtly toasty character also makes it a perfect match for soft, creamy cheeses like Brie or goat’s cheese, while the bright acidity cuts beautifully through rich dishes like roast chicken or tempura vegetables.

Riverland, Australia
Located in the heart of South Australia, the Riverland wine region is a tropical paradise for wine lovers. The region was formerly known for its traditional wines, particularly Shiraz, Chardonnay, and Grenache as well as its abundance of sunshine and beautiful scenery. In the last few years it's added a raft of Mediterranean varieties to its charm - think Fiano and Nero d'Avola. The warm climate and fertile soils of the Riverland make it a perfect place for grape growing, and the wines produced there are bursting with flavour. So why not explore the wines of the Riverland and discover a new favourite?
