Details
This red-fruited Margaret River rosé from the Credaro family has plenty of raspberry plumpness, with a style that has a bit more oomph and body to it. Watermelon red in colour, this has lots of sour cherries and a crisp finish all help to make it simply drinkable and especially easy, especially when drunk ice cold.
Origin: The spiritual home of rosé is Provence, in Southern France. Mainly Grown In: Rosé is found all over the world these days, but coastal regions are especially well suited to the growing of red grapes for rosé. Key Facts: Rosé is predominantly made from red grape varieties. The colour in wine is actually from pigments found in the skins of the grapes, so even red grapes have clear-coloured juice. The colour is then ‘bled’ out of the skins by infusing the skins into the juice. So for rosé, the wine simply spends far less time hanging out with the skins! Rarely you will find a rosé that is a combo of white and red grapes – they’re not ‘less good’, just less common. Rosé is super versatile – it suits any occasion. Best to always have a bottle in the fridge, just in case, you know… Wednesday happens or something. Fun Fact: Rosé is Australia's fastest-growing wine market - with over 20% growth year on year, which means there'll be PLENTY of amazing rosé for you to choose from this year.

Pairing guide
This is a fuller style of rosé, which means that it will fit in perfectly with dishes that have contrasting textures. It will be perhaps the greatest pizza wine around, with the fruit and freshness excellent with pizza of all shades. You can parlay that straight into some red pasta and especially salads with tomato for a different flavour bent. This is a versatile wine with enough flavour to stand up to many different foods, and it will also go brilliantly with spicy food - especially dishes that bring together seafood and chilli.
