Details
A pale rosé made from Tempranillo, this has plenty of flavour on offer - ruby grapefruit, strawberry and pomegranate, mixed with orange and raspberry. Some delicate rose petals and white pepper on the finish, of course with really refreshing acidity.

There's a clue in the name - this is a collaboration between a few good mates, based in the McLaren Vale and with vineyards across South Australia. Grown from humble roots, but with a clear mission; to create expressive and drinkable wines. Long term friends and colleagues, Norm Doole, Mike Farmilo and Nick Whiteway had always dreamed of making wine together. Norm has been growing grapes and making wine in McLaren Vale and at his home vineyard in the Adelaide Hills for over 30 years. Mike Farmilo is one of Australia’s most highly awarded winemakers; having made wines that have won the Jimmy Watson Award for Best Red Wine in Australia, twice! Nick has over 20 years experience in the industry; including vintages in the Napa Valley, USA and the Douro in Portugal. This melting pot of knowledge and cumulative experience are at the heart of the business. Their wines are constantly evolving, yet always remaining true to their purpose - that is, to be enjoyed and boast the unique qualities of their region, vineyard and variety. Great stuff.

Pairing guide
Colab & Bloom’s Rosé wines are a perennial favourite with wine lovers across the country, and when it comes to food pairing, this gorgeous bottle definitely hits the right notes. We love this wine with simple pasta dishes featuring tomato or creamy sauces, and it’s also a great choice for fish and chicken-based salads. Bruschetta and picnic favourites like quiches, pies, and cold cuts are also top options, and it’s equally good with salmon, tuna, and Cajun chicken and blackened fish.

Wine region
Fleurieu Peninsula, Australia
The Fleurieu Peninsula wine region is located in South Australia. The region is known for its relatively cool climate wines (compared to other parts of South Australia), Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay do particularly well in these parts. The area has a long history of winemaking, with the first vines being planted in the 1850s. Today, the region is home to a number of small, family-owned wineries that produce high-quality wines using traditional winemaking techniques. The cool climate and mineral-rich soils of the region give the wines their distinctive character and flavour. Perhaps the most famous of all of the Fleurieu Peninsula's sub-regions is McLaren Vale in the northwest, home to some of the finest red wines in Australia.
