Details
The Chaffey boys have put together a stellar Riesling, exuding the essence of Eden Valley with steely lemon and lime citrus tones offset by a mineral and chalky grip. This is your Riesling for sunny days and sunny vibes.

The Chaffey Bros are in fact brothers-in-law - Daniel Chaffey Hartwig and Theo Engela are the latest generation of the Chaffey family to ply their vinous trade in Australia. The name is based on their ancestors, the original Chaffey brothers, who were Canadian hydro engineers who arrived in Australia in 1886 and proceeded (along with a number of their descendants) to make an indelible mark on the Australian wine landscape. Their ethos is simple - present the vinous power, splendour and richness of the Barossa and Eden Valleys in a modern and digestible manner. So, their handmade, minimal-intervention wines come from individual parcels of low-yielding vineyards spread across the region. They are akin to wine-focussed parfumiers - discovering delicate aromatics, born from old vines, but mixed with blenders and storytellers. All in all, they're a more than welcome addition to the South Australian wine scene.

Pairing guide
Crisp, zesty, and full of lime and green apple notes, Tripelpunkt is a quintessential Eden Valley Riesling with vibrant acidity and a clean finish. It’s a natural with seafood—try it with freshly shucked oysters, grilled prawns, or chilli crab. Its citrusy zip makes it brilliant alongside Thai or Vietnamese dishes, particularly those with lemongrass, ginger, or a hint of heat. For vegetarian options, consider green salads with citrus vinaigrette, roasted asparagus, or goat cheese tartlets. It’s also a perfect aperitif wine, best served well chilled on warm days.
