Details
A well-balanced Chardonnay that walks the line between creamy and zesty. Look out for notes of white peach and lemon peel, along with pear purée and hints of vanilla. The gentle oak ageing has given this wine a slightly creamy texture which is well balanced by the tangy acidity. Great stuff.

Ron Fraser planted the first vines for Atticus vineyard back in 1997. His little patch of dirt in Margaret River is where the magic of winemaking meets the laid-back vibes of Margaret River. Here, it's all about the grapes. You'll find some of the best-known varieties in the world, like Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, but with a unique Aussie twist that makes them distinctly Western Australian, distinctly Margaret River, distinctly Atticus. The style is rooted in tradition, with healthy soil and healthy vines the bedrock for the success of this little winery. In recent years they've expanded the range of wines, from the Atticus Estate, to Chapman Grove, and. more recently the Gilli & Gura wines. The classicism of Margaret River runs through all of them, with vibrant fruit and excellent value a hallmark. These are wines worthy of your Thursday night roast dinner! Enjoy.

Pairing guide
Who could possibly resist the various charms of this beautifully crafted Chardonnay from Atticus Wines? We’re more than a little smitten by this one, and not least because it pairs so well with some of our favourite dishes. We especially enjoyed it with roast chicken recipes, chilli and coconut combos with white meat and fish, and it will also work a treat with coconut or cashew-based curries like pasanda. Creamier pasta recipes, shellfish, white fish and seafood soups, and avocado and smoked salmon salads will also hit the spot perfectly.
