1. Jip Jip Rocks Tempranillo 2021

The Jip Jip Rocks Tempranillo is sourced from the Adelaide Hills and we are glad for it with this classically made Aussie example being absolutely spot on. This wine hits all the high notes with bright cherries, Dr. Pepper Cola along with a hit of heady oak aromas of cocoa and vanilla. Like a king sized Cherry Ripe, this wine has plenty of decadence to have you content at the end of a long day.

2. Wirrega ‘Sfera’ Rosso 2021

A true multicultural blend of varieties in this intriguing and delicious red, featuring Dolcetto, Shiraz, Lagrein and Tempranillo. A complex combination of sweet fruit and savoury nuances, it boasts black cherry & plum flavours layering vanilla and spice, with a broad and expansive palate and creamy texture, finishing with a sweet and sour ‘agrodolce’ tang and light dusty tannins. Delicious!

3. Smallfry 'Old Fred's' Blend 2018

This wine is a real mix - a blend of Shiraz, Mourvèdre (aka Mataro in these parts of South Australia!), Grenache and Tempranillo. The Grenache comes from a vineyard that is over 100 years old, and adds prettiness to the depth and power of the Shiraz and Mourvèdre. Plenty of dark fruit and firm oak. Powerful stuff. If you worked with land as beautiful as Smallfry’s vineyards in Eden Valley and Vine Vale, you’d want your work to be as sustainable, land-friendly and organic as possible, too.
