There are now a range of flavoursome non-alcoholic beverages available for anyone who is teetotal, being responsible, is pregnant, is taking some time off booze, or is the designated driver for the night.

In this special pack you'll enjoy: Dr Loosen 'Dr Lo' Alcohol Removed Riesling NV This is one of the best non-alcoholic wines we've tasted. Made by the super clever Ernie Loosen, this is a sweet and juicy German Riesling with the alcohol removed. That's it. What is already a naturally low alcohol fruity wine doesn't need much work to turn into a completely non alcoholic wine, and the result is wonderful - a wine that has just the right amount of juicy citrus and stonefruit juiciness to balance the crisp acidity without ever feeling too sweat. Fist pump for real non-alc wine! Altina 'Sansgria' NV Sansgria is a non-alcoholic sparkling red built from natural ingredients and native Australian botanicals, with native australian riberry, de-alcoholised Shiraz, sweet orange, tart lemon and cayenne pepper. It’s invitingly purple in colour, with juicy blackcurrant, cranberry and orange zest aromas. It’s fruity and bubbly backed up by a savoury, vinous spice note, and has a little tannin edge. Served well chilled, it’s a delicious non-alc alternative! Altina Sparkling Rosé NV Sparkling rosé fun, zero alcohol. This non alcoholic sparkling rosé uses a base of de-alcoholised sparkling wine combined with some native Australian ingredients (like Rosella) to make for a deliciously pink, juicy, slightly tart and refreshing drink that dials in lots of fun and no hangovers.

Interesting to note

De-alcoholised wine can often taste less sweet because alcohol gives a perception of sweetness! That's often why we see non-alc wines with a little added fruit for a juicier edge.
