Story
Like so many brewers, Mike Clarke started off brewing in his garage. Initially, as an IT professional, making beer was just a fun hobby. But the hobby grew, bursting out of his garage and pushing Mike to make beer a full-time gig with the name of Sauce Brewing. And he went all-in, setting up a state-of-the-art brewery in Marrickville, aka the beer heart of Sydney, in 2017, complete with a glorious astro-turfed beer garden and an array of taps.
Since then, Sauce has earned a reputation for dark beers, sours and more, with polished brews that embrace diversity without ever feeling too freaky for deliciousness. With the Twizzle lineup the Sauce team have dipped into cocktails and other drinks, because why stop at just beer?
'The perfect blend of sweetness and tang' is how the Sauce team describe this cocktail, and we aren't arguing. Lime, lime zest and more lime crunch into a bit of minty fragrance before a tangy but nicely sweet palate that is ultimately super refreshing and a wonderful thirst quencher. All you really need to do is stick the can in the freezer for 20 minutes before pouring for maximum deliciousness.
