Story

Like so many brewers, Mike Clarke started off brewing in his garage. Initially, as an IT professional, making beer was just a fun hobby. But the hobby grew, bursting out of his garage and pushing Mike to make beer a full-time gig with the name of Sauce Brewing. And he went all-in, setting up a state-of-the-art brewery in Marrickville, aka the beer heart of Sydney, in 2017, complete with a glorious astro-turfed beer garden and an array of taps.

Since then, Sauce has earned a reputation for dark beers, sours and more, with polished brews that embrace diversity without ever feeling too freaky for deliciousness. With the Twizzle lineup the Sauce team have dipped into cocktails and other drinks, because why stop at just beer?

Like any great spritz, the joy of this Twizzle cocktail is the contrasting flavours. You have a herbal botanical twang that bounces off the blood orange bittersweet juiciness and then Prosecco fills out the palate with lots of apple and lemon generosity. Refreshing, tangy, crisp yet kinda juicy all at once, this spritz is pretty damn addictive.
