Story
Riot Wine Co. isn't your usual winery. Based in McLaren Vale and run by the ever-restless Tom O'Donnell, Riot, from the start (in 2016), has been about wines and wine-based drinks packaged in other formats. In particular, kegs were, and continue to be, the main game here, with 'wine on tap' a sleeping giant of hospitality potential. But putting great wine in cans is also a massive goal for Tom, who believes that his wines can be a 'social lubricant that brings frivolity' and 'more of a ceremony of fun than a drink'.
More recently, Tom has branched out from just wines into a range of bright and super juicy wine spritzes that we really like. They're entertaining drinks that will appeal to more than just wine drinkers, with a recipe based around grape juice with botanicals and fruit flavours.
The Big Berry flavour in this lineup is easily the juiciest, with plenty of raspberry and blueberry fun roundness. Tom & co think this has 'luscious berry botanicals oozing with juicy good times' that taste like 'red, blue and purple (fruits) with a little hint of the better life'.

PAIRING GUIDE
No matter what the weather’s doing outside, this berry-packed spritz cooler manages to unleash the summer vibes from the very first sip. It’s a refreshing option for pairing with dishes which also feature berry or plum flavours - game meats with a berry reduction, duck with plum sauce or a summer salad with raspberry vinaigrette - and it’s also excellent with poached pears in red wine, wine and berry jellies, or a classic Aussie pavlova. Yum!
