Story
Arguably one of the most pivotal non-alcoholic breweries to be launched in Australia, Heaps Normal have, in just a few years, redefined what beer can taste like sans alcohol.
What's even wilder is that Heaps Normal launched in July 2020, smack bang in the middle of the wild COVID-19 lockdown era that destroyed so many other brands. At the time, there were only a few non-alc beer options available, and it was a rarer sight to see one at your local bar and pub.
Our co-founders, pro surfer Jordy Smith, beer-brander Andy Miller and brewer Ben Holdstock set out to take the best bits of Aussie drinking culture and package them into great-tasting beers that they believe have 'helped to normalise new ways to drink and play'.
This lager was one of the very first Heaps Normal brews and it is every bit the take o a classic Australian lager. Made using just water, hops, yeast and barley, it's a non-alcoholic easy drinker that feels every bit like a standard Aussie lager, complete with the grainy edge and all, except with no hangover. Easy as!

Heaps Normal brewery is flying the flag for delicious Aussie non-alcoholic beers, and this crisp lager is the perfect showcase for just how far the scene has come. Refreshing and flavourful, it’s a great drink to pair with a tasty homemade lunch or dinner - you’ll find excellent results matching this one with simple pasta dishes, grilled prawns, white fish with salad and all kinds of crispy deep-fried delights. Fried rice dishes will work especially well, and it’s also fantastic with a spicy Indian or Thai curry, too!
