Story
With Dayse, Byron Bay-based couple Jack Freestone & Alana Blanchard have a mission. They want to make a delicious, healthier alternative beverage to alcohol that comes without hangovers or empty calories.
Teaming up with the QLD crew at Organica Beverage Co, they've created what is effectively a new category called 'Functional Spritz'. Using plant-based extracts and incorporating adaptogens and nootropics, they're working to tailor a desired effect on the body/mind while also being delicious. With a raft of more than worthy alternatives to alcoholic drinks, Jack & Alana believe that Dayse is 'the future of drinking'.
This 'Drift' version is what the team call 'a citrusy twist on calm'. It's a blend of yuzu, native lemon myrtle and hops for aroma, with L-theanine and passionflower to help you 'slow down, switch off, and feel deeply at ease'.
We love the citrussy tang and freshness of this non alcoholic spritz, that really feels like a perk up for the every day.

PAIRING GUIDE
With such a floral, citrus-forward tang, this Dayse 'Drift' non-alcoholic spritz feels more like a drink for any moment rather than being strictly tied to a pairing. Sunshine and good vibes aside, we do enjoy this a plate of freshly grilled fish with a drizzle of lemon and capers, and you can swap out the fish for chicken, or fried haloumi for something different. The key here is to chil the Dayse nice and cold to really emphasise the vitality.
